Notice on Israel’s Implementation Regulations for Updating ATA Document Books
All relevant enterprises, institutions and individuals:
Recently, Israeli customs have issued the latest policy on customs clearance and supervision during wartime. Among them, the relevant policies and regulations related to the use of ATA document books are:
1. In order to address the difficulties faced by ATA document holders in the process of re exporting their goods during a state of war, Israeli customs have agreed to extend the re export period for foreign ATA document holders whose goods are currently in Israel and are valid from October 8, 2023 to November 30, 2023, by three months.
2. This policy applies to all ATA documents issued by foreign guarantee institutions, and the extension will automatically take effect without the need for the holder to file an application.
3. The above convenience policy does not apply to ATA carnets that have previously been extended. If the validity period of the renewal certificate book is between October 8, 2023 and November 30, 2023, the extension will be considered based on specific circumstances.
If the ATA document holder encounters any related customs clearance issues in Israel, please contact our center in a timely manner.
